Our foundation

We Believe…

These convictions guide our teaching, leadership, outreach, and unity. Select any statement to see its scriptural foundation.

Jesus is fully God and fully man.

We believe Jesus was born of the virgin Mary, willingly died on the cross for our sins, and that His blood covers all who come to Him and call upon His name.

John 1:14 · Philippians 2:6–8
Salvation is found through Jesus alone.

We believe the only way to salvation is through Jesus and the blood He shed for us.

John 14:6
God is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in one God revealed in three distinct and unique persons: God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:19
Humanity was made in the image of God.

We believe sin brought brokenness into the world and that restoration to what we were created to be comes through Jesus.

Genesis 1:27 · Romans 5:12 · 2 Corinthians 5:17
The gifts of the Holy Spirit remain active.

We believe the Spirit still gives gifts—including wisdom, prophecy, tongues, and others—for the common good.

1 Corinthians 12:4–11
Scripture should be studied with care.

We believe no single modern Bible translation should be the sole reference; the original Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic texts help guide faithful understanding.

2 Timothy 2:15
The Bible is the Word of God.

We believe Scripture continually reveals God’s truth and wisdom and equips believers for every good work.

2 Timothy 3:16–17
Jesus Christ will return.

We believe in Christ’s return and that believers should remain watchful, while recognizing that no person knows the day or hour.

Matthew 24:36
God gives people a real choice.

We believe God gives free will, allowing each person to choose whether to love Him and abide in Him. God loves us, but does not force us to love Him.

Revelation 3:20
Believers are called to unity and truth.

We believe Christians should overcome denominational division to further the Gospel, while faithfully defending the truth of Jesus and the Bible with gentleness and respect.

John 17:20–21 · 1 Peter 3:15
